Architecture as Acupuncture
This design focuses on an efficient multi-programming scenario of a parking lot and a library.
The challenge was to create a parking garage that strays from the traditional aesthetic, while incorporating different programs to create a complete and functional design.
This design includes:
a 2-level parking structure (basement and first floor),
a full library with areas for children, young adults and the elderly,
a supermarket, boutiques, café and restaurant,
playground for children,
exercise track,
gardens for the residents as well as visitors (first floor and second floor).
This project is the second of two (2) where we begin experimenting with the concept of multi-programming.
