Beitou Heart Village is the only hot spring military and medical dependent village in Taiwan. It was registered as a settlement complex in 2011 by an announcement. Through the revitalization of the community and local cultural and historical resources, Zhongxin Village is positioned as the hinterland of "Beitou Hot Springs — Museum without Walls", showing the rich and diverse life memories of Beitou.

This design incorporates the site’s historic features and connects the village to the surrounding community. It also creates a space where people from all around the village can meet and interact.
